Common questions.
No. Personal care is non-medical assistance with activities of daily living. We do not administer medications, perform wound care, or provide skilled nursing. If those are needed, we can coordinate with a home health agency.
That's one of the most common feelings we hear. We take it slow, keep the person covered whenever possible, and explain every step. Most clients feel comfortable within the first two or three visits.
Yes — safe transfers are part of personal care. We're trained in proper body mechanics and use gait belts when appropriate.
